83 Beautiful WordPress Themes You (Probably) Haven’t Seen

Sometimes it’s just like searching for a needle in a haystack: if you’ve ever googled for free and quality WordPress Themes, you know exactly what we’re talking about. Most designers love to create WordPress themes, so they can demonstrate the quality of their work and add some fresh works to their portfolios.

However, most WordPress themes are either used too often (Kubrick theme, now K2, is definitely overused) or just have nothing to offer – particularly, if you are looking for a free, impressive and professional design. However, sometimes search is worth it. In the gallery below you’ll find 83 free WordPress Themes you probably haven’t seen yet. All themes offer quality, elegance and a user-friendly interface. … and please take a look at Dr. Web’s free WordPress Theme ModernOak. Links checked: July/3rd 2008.

Great collection of sophisticated themes. In case someone is looking for something simpler but easier to customize, you might want to have a look at a template I just completed. Again, it’s not a visual stunner, but if simple design and easy customization are what you are looking for, you’re invited to check it out.

Instead of going to wordpress.org and searching for the required ones from thousands of wordpress themes is very time consuming. I think this would form a good comprehensive list of quality themes to look on .

Amongst these 83 listed, I prefer: iceberg, soxnest, intrablog, XV, plain box, Theme leia, peaceful rush, greenery, fall season, glossy blue and japanese cherry.

There are many more “wordpress themes” more beautiful than the ones listed here but they are hard to find and are not free, and tend to lean towards more to the ARTISTIC like Plain Box/Theme Leia and Jap Cherry.

I personally find the REVVED UP theme (by Rudd-O) nice too cos I can replace i with my own face. :)

I need help please, I am a graphic designer and want to have a wordpress blog, but I hate the themes I’ve seen, however as a graphic designer, these are quite nice.

What I am looking for is to learn how to insert a custom header into a wp header… It is not as easy as all say… I am a big novice at this… can someone give me some step by step instructions… I would even pay for the help if necessary…

    thankyou

I think the best themes are from TemplateWorld. Why? Because most of them are designed in Web 2.0 standards and also they are 100% XHTML and CSS – W3C Standards Compliants.

Highly recommend them. You can find many themes from TemplateWorld that are listed on this page. For example the Time Manager theme.
